The first batch of uniformly coded consumables totaled 30073 kinds, totaling 17 categories.
According to the disciplines, uses, parts, and functions of medical consumables, 17 first-level classifications (disciplines, categories), 176 second-level classifications (uses, items), and 1073 three-level classifications (parts, functions, varieties) have been formed.

去年5月，国务院《治理高值医用耗材改革方案》发布时，国家医保局副局长李滔解读时提到，将通过“编码可比对，平台全透明，销售零差率，准入管一批，招采降一批，支付标准规范一批”等综合举措理顺高值医用耗材价格形成机制，切实降低虚高的价格。
可以说，无论是耗材带量采购，还是医保支付改革，实施的基石都是医用耗材统一编码。
在耗材带量采购中，如何保证低价中标产品的质量一直是个难题，而一致性评价就相当于为耗材设立了“质量标准线”，对标准线以上的产品进行谈判采购，即使唯低是取，质量也能有最基本的保证。
耗材一致性评价，通过对同品种医疗器械临床试验或者临床使用获得的数据进行分析评价，能够证明该医疗器械安全、有效的，可免于进行临床试验。
一致性评价是医用耗材带量采购实施的基石。
目前3+6跨省耗材带量采购已经启动，以陕西为首14省联盟也明确今年上半年即将启动。随着医用耗材带量采购全国大范围推进，一致性评价落地的急迫性和重要性不言而喻。
而一致性评价又是以统一编码体系和评分标准为基础的。目前医用耗材统一编码第一批名单已经公布，国家医保局又要求今年全部完成。可见耗材一致性评价也不远了。
不久前，国家医保局指出下一步，国家卫生健康委将积极配合医疗、信息、卫生经济、编码、医保、物价、招采、流通等相关专业机构，促进医用耗材各环节管理的无缝隙衔接。
